We’ve been having a lot of fun trying acrylic pouring!

This is a fluid art where we mix acrylic paint with a pouring medium and some water to make it a loose consistency. Then we can use different objects to move the paint and make different patterns. 

Some of the things we have used include; bubble wrap, a balloon, cardboard, icing scrapers, piping tips. The list goes on!

Above are a few images from a pouring session, the image on the canvas changes constantly so we take lots of photographs to preserve some of the wonderful patterns that emerge.
